Scorpio Platoon, Bolero Invader Inspira, the Bolero Stinger, and the Customized XYLO – meet the newest additions to M&M Ltd.’s vast family. In the month of May, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, the undisputed leader in utility vehicles in India, showcased its range of customized vehicles at a special event held in Ahmadabad. The good news is that all Mahindra customers, across the country can get the touch of customization on their vehicle, be it new or pre-owned.

Mr.Vivek Nayar, Senior Vice President - Marketing, Automotive Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. was delighted by this latest innovation and said: “We see customization as a great platform to reach out to individual customers and provide them with vehicles which are truly a reflection of their identity and attitude.”

Let’s meet the first variant: Scorpio Platoon, which was unveiled at the Auto Expo’10, New Delhi. This variant of the mighty muscular Scorpio is ideal for the true blue Scorpio fan. The exteriors of this icon have been artfully crafted with custom made inset side scoops with mesh, designed body claddings and a styled bonnet scoop. For those who consider the car a reflection of their identity, a refurbished rear number plate bezel has been added to this customized version. The color co-ordinated interiors are designed to be as impressive as the exterior. The upholstery is done up in leather and suede, adding a touch of royalty to the Platoon. The designers have left no stone unturned by customizing even the floor carpeting, floor mats and the roof lining. Finally, the Scorpio Platoon also provides for the passenger’s entertainment with a customized MP3 player with speakers.

The next in line are two versions of the Bolero. First one is the Bolero Invader Inspira , which is available in two models: the 2WD version and the 4WD. This concept is ideal for those seeking adventure and a fun off-roading experience. The second Bolero avatar is the Stinger. This toughie makes a unique style statement with its striking exterior and powerful performance. And the last, but not the least – the customized version of XYLO. This style icon features a restyled exterior and a new, conveniences laden interior. The vehicle is available in customized shades, with two tone options.

Mahindra & Mahindra surely knows how to keep people hooked. The new variants not only have new features, but are style statements. The only drawback being: people will have a tough time choosing between these ultra stylish and classy vehicles!
