Twenty days, 11 countries, 8000km. The first India-Asean Car Rally 2004 was flagged off by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in Guwahati on November 24, 2004. The rally passed through Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore before terminating in Indonesia. Not one out of the half-a-dozen participating Scorpios gave an ounce of trouble despite being driven hard.
